              D1: Codes and Conventions In this blog report, I am going to talk about the codes and conventions of a radio show. This will help me understand what I we will need to do for our DonCast films radio show and what we will need to include.    codes and conventions are super important to follow. They ensure that radio shows are structured correctly and include all the necessary elements that they should have. I will talk apply the codes and conventions to our own radio show. Our target audience is families and younger people. They are more likely to listen to our radio show because they would want to go out and spend time with each other.           M1: Structure of Radio Station In this report, I will be analysing the structure of the Capital FM radio station. I will talk about Capital's target audience, how they entertain audiences, how they make money and how they structure their radio shows. Capital FM is a commercial music radio station aimed towards teenagers and young adults. I would place listeners of Capital in the mainstreamer psychographic since this is popular music that a mass audience enjoy. They were founded in 1978 and lots of famous presenters work at Captial FM such as Roman Kemp.          P4: Planning For Our Radio Show    Initial Planning We have decided to name our radio show Doncast Films. In this show, we will be talking about the events happening in Doncaster in November/December at Cast, Savoy and DCLT Dome. We will talk about the movies you can watch at Savoy, the shows on at Cast and what you can do at The Dome. Cast are putting on a Sleeping Beauty pantomine this christmas. We will create an advertisement for Savoy Cinema. We could talk about it being a local attraction, lots of movies, great atmosphere and because it is new, the cinema is modern and in the center of everything. We are going to target families. So we will talk about all the events and also talk about which are more family friendly. We are going to target mainstreamers since lots of people love the events.
